BRUNET, Arthur John “Art”
Peacefully entered into rest at home, on Friday, January 6, 2023, Art Brunet of Cannifton, formerly of Bloomfield, died at the age of 70. He was the son of the late Royden Brunet & Rita Douglas (nee Coady) and he has been reunited with his love, the late Robin Marie (nee Wannamaker). Art was the father of Carrie Brunet, Jason Brunet (Brandi), all of Kingston, Steve Brunet of Belleville and Natalie Wright (Wes Whipple) of Picton and he was the grandfather of Marissa, Brielle, Nathan, Alexis, Jaxon and Everleigh. Art is survived by his brother Joseph Brunet of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and he will be fondly remembered by his niece Elizabeth and his cousins Linda White (John Dirneder), Doug White (Melanie) and Lee Linka (nee White).
Mr. Brunet is resting at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street, (613-476-2450). Funeral Service in the Chapel on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 2 pm with visitation for 1 hour prior to the Service. Spring Interment at Bowerman McFaul Cemetery, Bloomfield. If desired, donations to Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation or Hospice Prince Edward in Art’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
