LANGSTAFF, Betty Jane – Peacefully at the Belmont Long Term Care Facility on Saturday, December 31, 2022. Betty Langstaff, of Belleville, in her 92nd year. Daughter of the late Thomas Lewis and Edna Cole. Beloved wife of the late Rey Langstaff. Caring mother of Cathy Boyce (Daryle) of Salisbury, NB, the late Tom Kerr, and the late Gail Kerr. She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Briar, Lucas (Sarah), Michael, Christopher, Jason (Crystal), and Casey Lynne (Carl) and will be missed by her great-grandchildren Chase, Rylan, and Zachary. Betty will be fondly remembered by her dear friend Joanne Collins. Betty is predeceased by her siblings Thomas Lewis (Maxine), Kent Lewis (Barb), and Jim Lewis (Bev).
Throughout all of life’s ups and downs, Betty maintained a positive attitude. She loved butterflies, spending time with her grandchildren, and enjoying a cup of coffee with friends. She will be sadly missed by her entire family and her many friends.
The family wishes to extend gratitude to the Streamway Unit at the Belmont Long Term Care Facility for their excellent and compassionate care.
Betty rested at the Rushnell Funeral Home – Belleville, 80 Highland Avenue. Cremation has taken place. As per Betty’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
