Entered into rest at the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, Picton on Monday, January 23, 2023, Bev Hele (nee Demille) of Milford died at the age of 63. She was the daughter of the late Doug & Velma Demille (nee Elsbury) and the beloved wife of Lee. Bev was the cherished mother of Leanne (Robert Wright) and Raymond (Christina Huff) all of Picton and grandmother of Wade, Stephanie, Shelby, Harley and Lacey and great-grandmother of Bennett, and Waylon. She is survived by her siblings Doug (Debbie) of Toronto, Debra Newson (late Philip) of Picton, Brian (Crystal), Dale (Donna) all of Toronto, Brenda of Picton and Jackie Chmiel of Peterborough. Predeceased by infant sister Bonnie Lee. Bev will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hele rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450). In keeping with Bev’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services at this time. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations to the Dialysis Unit at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by Bev’s family.
