Obituary for Celia Hazel McAlpine (Selman)
MCALPINE, Celia Hazel
Entered into rest peacefully at Belleville General Hospital on February 4, 2023. Celia McAlpine passed away at the age of 95. Celia was the daughter of the late Norman Curtis and Mary Catherine Helena Selman and devoted wife of the late Leo McAlpine. Celia was the mother of Nancy (Eric Kimball), Daniel (Kathy), Jack (Heather), Mark (Patricia) and Lois Woodall (Robert). Celia was greatly loved by all her grandchildren, Sharon, Michael, James, Jessica, Joshua, Sandra, Janet and step-grandchildren Lee Wyscaver, Jessica Woodall, and Joshua Woodall and by her several great-grandchildren.
Mrs. McAlpine is resting at Rushnell Funeral Home at 33 Main Street West in Picton. Visitation will be held Friday February 10 2023 from 7pm to 9 pm, followed by a funeral service on Saturday February 11, at 11am at the funeral home.
Donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada or to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital are appreciated.
