It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Clara Marguerite Cooney on Saturday, January 7th, 2023, in her 81st year. Daughter of the late Walter and Mary Mossman . Beloved wife of the late Marvin Earl Cooney. Dear Mother of Marie Piotto (Dino) of Brockville and Ronald Cooney (Barbara) of Belleville. Loved by her grandchildren Kristina Piotto, Ashlee Cooney and McKala Cooney. Great grandmother of Emmerson Tustin and Sage Cooney Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews. Sister-in-law of Eunice Williams (late Butch) of Cobourg, and Thelma Chatten (Bill) of Belleville. Predeceased by Ila Swiston (late Dave), Barbara Cooney, Bev Chaumont (late Paul), and Murney Cooney. Arrangements entrusted to RUSHNELL FUNERAL HOME - BELLEVILLE, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588). Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, January 13th, 2023 at 2:00 pm with visitation from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm . Interment at Belleville Cemetery.
