O'BRIEN, Clara Joan (nee Metcalf) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Clara on Thursday, March 16th , 2023 in Cobourg, Ontario at the age of 87. Predeceased by her husband John Leo O’Brien on September 27, 2016, Clara leaves behind three children Catherine Ann Daley, Kimberly Louise Eden (Kyle), and Daniel John O’Brien, as well as six adoring grandchildren Nicole (Dee) Dionne Daley, Austin Michael Daley, Konnor Mackenzie Eden, Quinn Patrick Eden, Madison (Maddy) Anna O’Brien and Jake Daniel John O’Brien. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff in the Palliative Care Unit at Northumberland Hills Hospital for their compassionate care and attention.
