HUDGINS, Dorothy Viola – It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Hudgins on Friday, March 10th, 2023, in her 96th year, surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was the cherished daughter of the late Charles Lucas and Emma Bowers. Predeceased by her loving husband, William Dale. Together they shared three beautiful children; Shirley (Brian) Lake, Les (Donna) Hudgins and Trudy Legacey. Dorothy was the proud grandmother to four grandchildren; Dale (Vicki), Sandra (Nick), Sarah (Travis) and Kristen (Adam) and was an equally proud great grandmother to ten great grandchildren; Holly (Dave), Page (Will), Hope, Theo, Anna, Stella, Gwen, Lincoln, River and Hudson. As well as one precious great great grandchild; Delilah. Dorothy was predeceased by her three step-sisters; Evelyn Bowers, Hazel Gardon and Mable Trawley.
Dorothy will forever be in the hearts of all her loving friends and family alike.
Arrangements entrusted to RUSHNELL FUNERAL HOMES - BELLEVILLE, (80 Highland Ave .613-968-5588). A Graveside Service will be held at Belleville Cemetery on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023 at 1:00 pm at their family plot. Reverend Bob Mathison will be officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the St. Mark's United Church (Cannifton), as well as the Heart and Stroke foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
