EDWARD MICHAEL SHANNON
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Father, Edward Michael Shannon,
of Marmora on Sunday, January 15, 2023.
Edward passed away peacefully at the age of 85 with his family by his side.
Beloved husband of Carol Shannon (Leahy).
Predeceased by parents Michael Shannon & Bertella Maloney and siblings Veronica Hickey, Stafford Shannon,
Jean Nice & Margaret Shannon.
Survived by sisters-in-law Joan Shannon and Jean Leahy.
Edward will always be loved and remembered by his children Rose Anne Schick (Denis), Wendy Lightle (Allan),
Colleen Thompson, and Michael Shannon (Carrie). Cherished Papa to Emma Goguen (Ryley), Michael Schick (Jocelyn), Matthew, Wesley (Natasha), Ethan Lightle, Nolan Thompson and Ella, Lena, & Sophia Shannon.

The family would like to extend heartfelt appreciation to Bayshore Nursing (Bre Young), Dr. Janet Webb,
Dr. Michael De La Roche, Dr. Sebastian Leon, Father Justin Pulikunnel & Nickle's Pharmacy (Maha Majeed).
A private Mass will be held at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Sacred Heart of Jesus Marmora cemetery fund.
