BRIX, Helmut Werner Karl – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helmut "Ham" Brix on Wednesday, December 14th, 2022, in his 91st year at the Residence surrounded by his loved ones. Helmut was the beloved son to Karl Brix and Herta Brix. Survived by his loving soulmate Emily, who has been happily married for the past sixty-two years. They shared seven beautiful children together; George (Kathy), Margaret (Mick), Wendy (Tony), James, Joseph, Susan (Jeff), and Angel (Jim). Helmut was the proud grandfather to ten beautiful grandchildren, sadly predeceased by one grandchild; Jamie Lynn. He was also an equally proud great-grandfather to 16 great grandchildren. Helmut was the beloved brother of four siblings Waltraud, Bridgette, Peter and the late Dieter. "Ham" will always be remembered for his sense of humor and for the hard working, loving man that he was. He will be fondly missed by all his loved ones and friends alike.
Arrangements entrusted to JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588). A public Celebration Of Life will be held on June 3rd, 2023 by the family.
