Leanne Cheryl Brigden
Surrounded by family, passed away peacefully at home, after a brief battle with cancer. Went home to her Father in heaven on February 27, 2023 in her 63rd year.
She leaves behind her loving husband Shawn Sheaves.
Loving daughter of Jean & Floyd Brigden.
Dearly remembered by her brothers Dale (Cynthia) and Ross (Vicki), mother & father-in-law Minnie & Charles “Bud” Lancaster, nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.
Leanne grew up in Hornby, Ontario where her deep love of animals lead to the purchase of a horse she named Holly. She later moved to Thomasburg where she would look after people’s animals when they were on vacation. She finally settled in Tweed where she met Shawn.
Visitation will be held at Rushnell Funeral Home, 137 Colborne St, Tweed (613-478-3535) on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 1 - 4 pm. Words of remembrance will be shared at 2 pm. If desired, donations to the Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward. For further information, contact Shawn 343-363-5804.
