Noah Nevada Wheeler
(January 21, 1934 – January 14, 2023)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father Nevada Wheeler of Marmora
Ontario on January 14, 2023. Nevada passed away peacefully at the age of 88 with his children by his
side at Campbellford Memorial Hospital.
Beloved husband of Leona Wheeler (nee: Booth).
Nevada will always be loved and remembered by his children, Jim (Tammie) Wheeler, Dale (Chris)
Taber, Rick (Janie) Wheeler, Janet (the late Steve) Bronson, Donna (Ronnie) McQuigge, and Brenda
(Mark) McQuigge.
A wonderful grandpa to 30+ grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and uncle to many nephews and
nieces.
Brother of Cody (Fran) Wheeler, and Cole (Marilyn) Wheeler.
Brother-in-law to Daniel Booth, Herson Booth, Ralph Booth, Burt Booth, Rob Booth, the late Irene
Neuman, and Dean Booth.
Predeceased by parents Phillip and Madeline Wheeler; brother Frank (Bev) Wheeler; sister Elaine
Rusaw; sister-in-law LouBelle (Dave) Hord, and great-granddaughter Dakota Paige Wheeler.
Family and friends will be received at Rushnell (McConnell) Funeral Home, 9 Bursthall St., Marmora on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 1-3 pm. Celebration of his Life will be held directly after visitation at 3pm. Light luncheon will be held between 4-7 pm at the Marmora Legion.
Interment will be held for immediate family in the Spring at Zion Cemetery.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be sent to a charity of your choice.
