HAMILTON, Rose Marie – It is with great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Rose Marie at her home on Tuesday, March 7th, 2023 in her 90th year. Daughter of the late Jordan and Alice Latchford. Pre-deceased by her loving husband George Hamilton. Cherished mother to Toni Murchison of Peterborough, Sandra Sykes (Les) of Roslin, and Dave Hamilton (Marlys) of Belleville. Rose Marie is survived by her siblings, Barbara Blaind (late Don), Lynda Vanclief (late Al), Sherry Neilson (Bob), Clare Latchford (Marylou) and is pre-deceased by her brothers, Bert Latchford (late Joan), Garnet Latchford (late Doreen) and Carl Latchford. Also remembered by Jean and John Donald. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Sara, Ian, Kaitlyn, Mackenzie, Ryan (Chelsea), and Rory. In keeping with Rose Marie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family would like to invite friends and family to attend a visitation at the Rushnell Funeral Home – Belleville, 80 Highland Ave. (613-968-5588) on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place in the chapel on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. (with visitation one hour prior).
