Suddenly entered into rest at Hospice Prince Edward, Picton on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, Sherrie Code of Picton died at the age of 64. She was the daughter of the late John & Audrey Code and was the wife for 31 years to Mel Webb. Sherrie was the loving mother of Keira Code-Miller of Picton, and step-mother of Nanette Young (Tom) of Trenton, Mel Webb of Belleville and Stephany Webb of Sudbury and she was the grandmother of Dominic and Lucas. She is survived by her brother Tony Code (Brenda) of Brockville, and her sister Janice Lindel of Picton. Predeceased by her brother Mike Code. Sherrie will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and many friends.
Sherrie rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450). In keeping with Sherrie’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Sherrie’s Life will be held at a later date. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Loyalist Humane Society in memory of Sherrie would be appreciated by the family.
