BAKER, William (Bill) Robert Baker

May 23, 1950 - January 11, 2023
It is with heavy hearts the family of William 'Bill' Baker announce his passing at the Belleville General Hospital at the age of 72. Son of the late Harold & Mary Baker. He will be forever loved by wife Darlene, and her sons Jon (Casey), Kevin (Sherrie) and grandchildren Jaxen and Cadence.
Bill began his career with the Ontario Provincial Police on November 4, 1974 at Killaloe Detachment, on September 16, 1985 Bill was transferred to Kaladar Detachment, and his final transfer was on May 19, 1987 to Madoc Detachment where he retired from the OPP on December 31, 2002 after 28 years of service.
In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no service or visitation. Arrangements entrusted to Rushnell Funeral Homes - Belleville, 80 Highland Ave. (613-968-5588). If desired memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are requested.
